The Supply Chain Planner (GP) is responsible for planning and managing regionally planned product lines of low to moderate complexity to ensure supply continuity and inventory optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Operation Planning:

  • Basic understanding of end-to-end S&OP, Demand and Supply processes and principles.
  • Conduct scenario planning with more experienced Supply Chain Planners.
  • Identify Supply and Demand imbalances
  • Prepare and present charts and graphs for demand / supply meetings.

Supply Chain Management Skills:

  • Basic understanding of SAP and S&OP tool master data, MRP Planning strategies, Functional Supply Chain knowledge and constrained demand/allocation process.
  • Knows key Customers.
  • Familiar with Supply Chain KPI's.
  • Review/create eMOC's with assistance as needed.
  • Coordinate and execute stock replenishment transactions with Supply Chain Team support.
  • Create and manage critical Supply Plans with assistance from experienced Supply Chain Planners as necessary

Technology System Skills:

  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Very proficient in MS Excel - can build and modify pivot table, use DB formulas.
  • Basic understanding of SAP R/3 and S&OP tools
  • Apply the use of SAP, and S&OP Tools to complete job tasks with some coaching from experienced Supply Chain Planners as necessary.
  • And other duties as assigned to safely perform

Required Skills

  • 1-3 Years Supply Chain or Business experience preferred.
  • Communicates clearly and articulately when speaking in an individual or group environment.
  • Organizes thoughts with ability to present information in a clear and precise manner.
  • Recognizes problems and seeks input from others to systematically gather information.
  • Understands basic S&OP Process.
  • Makes routine decisions.
  • Acts as a team member to support all Supply Chain goals with support from more experienced Supply Chain personnel.
  • Actively contributes in team meetings and activities.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • BS or BA desired
  • CPIM or equivalent certification desired
