Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, with a focus on demand planning in consumer hardware.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently for engaging with local Taiwan partners and global/regional teams respectively.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in direct demand and supply planning within complex environments.
  • Prior experience in consumer hardware industry.
  • Proven track record leading monthly cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles.
  • Ability to manage both strategic and operational levels, including successful new product launches.
  • Exceptional presentation and problem-solving skills to influence internal and external partners.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sources, with demonstrated success in managing large-scale cross-functional projects and navigating organizational ambiguity.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning process for your designated region and product portfolio. Make strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on demand forecasts.
  • Lead the monthly cross-functional sales and operations planning cycle, driving decisions and actions to mitigate risks and achieve business plans.
  • Lead engagement with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply) to influence decisions, drive consensus, and clearly communicate goals, progress, and deadlines.
  • Oversee all demand and fulfillment planning activities, including managing optimal levels of channel inventory to balance availability through the product's lifecycle. Lead supply allocation exercises and oversee order fulfillment.
  • Lead weekly collaborative, planning, forecasting, and replenishment discussions with third-party resellers to drive forecast accuracy.
