About the Opportunity

The ECI Group Inc. is seeking an accomplished and highly connected commercial leader to expand our technology licensing business across India. This is a unique opportunity for a senior industry professional with deep relationships across the petrochemical, refining, and project development sectors to identify, shape, and secure high-value growth opportunities.

As Regional Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in originating and developing strategic greenfield and brownfield projects while positioning the ECI Group as a trusted technology licensor and partner in polyolefins, intermediates, recycling, and emerging technology platforms.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven industry expert who thrives on building executive relationships, opening doors, and turning market opportunities into bankable projects.

What You'll Do

Shape Market Strategy

• Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with ECI's technology portfolio.
• Identify, prioritize, and engage target customers, including petrochemical producers, refiners, investors, and project developers.
• Monitor investment drivers, market trends, feedstock dynamics, and policy developments across India.

Build Strategic Relationships

• Establish trusted executive and technical relationships with decision-makers across operating companies, project sponsors, investors, EPC contractors, and technology partners.
• Position ECI early in the project lifecycle, influencing project development before technology selections are finalized.

Develop High-Value Opportunities

• Evaluate opportunities based on strategic fit, technical readiness, financial viability, and execution probability.
• Define technology positioning, competitive strategy, and partnership approaches to maximize project success.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.

Lead Commercial Success

• Support development of licensing strategies and commercial structures for major projects.
• Contribute to negotiations involving license agreements, technical services, and commercial terms.
• Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure project awards.

Deliver Results

• Build and manage a robust regional opportunity pipeline.
• Drive opportunities from origination through qualification, concept development, FEED, and award.
• Achieve order intake objectives and expand ECI's presence within strategic accounts.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate

Essential Experience

• 10–15+ years of experience within the polyolefins and petrochemical industry.
• Proven success in technology licensing, project development, or major project sales.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and advance large-scale capital projects valued at more than $100 million.
• Established personal network with direct access to decision-makers within Indian petrochemical producers, refiners, and project developers.
• Strong track record of creating opportunities rather than simply responding to tenders.
• Deep understanding of India's refining and petrochemical landscape, including major industry participants and refining-to-chemicals integration trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with licensors, EPC contractors, or project developers.
• Exposure to joint ventures and partnership structures.
• Strong understanding of regional investment dynamics and market development trends.
