Your Role

As the Chief Financial Officer, APAC, you will be the senior finance leader for the region, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO, APAC and a strategic partner to Group Finance.

You will play a critical role in driving business performance, profitability, cost discipline, financial planning and sustainable value creation across APAC. Balancing regional priorities with Group expectations, you will ensure strong financial governance, transparent reporting and effective execution of corporate objectives.

You will also lead and develop a high-performing finance organization that enables strategic decision-making, operational excellence and long-term business growth.

What are you going to do?

Drive Financial Performance & Profitability

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across APAC, ensuring alignment with regional and Group objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance and key business drivers, translating insights into clear actions to improve profitability, margins and cash generation.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Provide strategic financial insight and challenge to support sound business decisions and sustainable value creation.

Drive Cost Optimization & Productivity

  • Lead a region-wide cost management agenda, identifying and delivering sustainable savings and productivity improvements.
  • Establish clear cost transparency, ownership and accountability across business units and functions.
  • Challenge spending and investment decisions to ensure resources are prioritized against the highest-value opportunities.

Strengthen Governance, Risk & Group Alignment

  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, financial controls, regulatory requirements and governance standards.
  • Oversee the identification, assessment and mitigation of financial and operational risks across APAC.
  • Ensure high-quality, timely and transparent financial reporting to regional and Group stakeholders.
  • Balance regional business needs with Group priorities and corporate objectives.

Lead Finance & Build Organizational Capability

  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing finance organization across APAC.
  • Strengthen capabilities in business partnering, financial analytics, performance management and strategic decision support.
  • Drive finance transformation through process improvement, automation, digitalization and enhanced reporting.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and commercial focus.

Who are we looking for?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of senior finance leadership experience, with a strong track record in finance, business performance management, strategy or commercial finance.
  • Proven experience partnering with CEOs, executive leadership teams and senior regional stakeholders in a complex multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, cost optimization, productivity improvements and sustainable value creation.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance management and investment appraisal
  • Strong understanding of financial governance, risk management, internal controls and strategic decision support.
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align regional and corporate organizations around common objectives.

Preferable

  • Experience leading a geographically diverse finance organization across APAC.
  • Experience delivering finance transformation, automation and data-driven performance management initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • A track record of building high-performing teams and developing finance talent in a multinational environment.
