Job Description

The Regional Carpenter Coordinator oversees planning, ordering, and vendor coordination for all carpet needs at assigned regional events. This role ensures accuracy of carpet plans, compliance with exhibitor and show management requirements, and timely, correct delivery, serving as the primary operational owner for carpet execution.

Key Contributions of the Role

  • Review carpet floor plans, cut sheets, and EV orders for assigned shows.
  • Partner with Floor Plan Designers to confirm layout accuracy and required cuts.
  • Verify exhibitor carpet orders align with approved plans and show requirements.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders to review carpet zones, targets, tag colors, loading order, and execution plans.
  • Attend budget meetings, pre-show meetings, day-before meetings, and show huddles as required.
  • Coordinate special and custom carpet requests with Account Executives.
  • Place carpet orders with approved regional vendors.
  • Confirm quantities, colors, sizes, padding, and delivery schedules.
  • Track order status to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Proactively resolve vendor discrepancies, shortages, or delivery risks.
  • Maintain organized records of carpet orders and related documentation.
  • Support other operational departments during slower production periods or as directed by leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in event production, tradeshow operations, or vendor coordination preferred.
  • Close attention to detail with the ability to interpret floor plans and cut sheets.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal operating systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; or relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
