Job Description

To deliver a competitive advantage to our company, the Business Finance function needs to be agile and dynamic, founded on insights from advanced analytics and tools, and proactive business partneringtoinfluence strategic decisions where possible. With the ever-changing business environment and technologies, there have been significant changes in the role ofthe BusinessFinance function, as it pivots towards a more predictive and analytical future as opposed to descriptive analysis. We shall no longer just report the news but help make the news. Connect the internal and external insights and proactively drive and shape the governance of theLocal,Regional, orGlobal agendas for business discussions.

In this perspective,weaimto becomea strongbusiness partner withtheSustainabilityteam. We believe that atransformational change is only possible if sustainability factors are incorporated into strategicplanning and into the allocation of capital that drives investmentsmore holistically.

Business finance will ensure that sustainability issues are addressed in an integrated manner within theCompany's strategic planningand decisions, aligned with the budgeting and forecasting processes, andthatsustainability strategies are costed, financial resources areallocated, and performance ismonitored

KeyResponsibilities:

Reporting to the SeniorBusiness Finance Manager,SustainabilityPerformance, the incumbent is expected to work cohesively and supportSustainabilityPerformance, establishment, implementation, continuous improvement through process standardization acrossNorth Asia and SEAA

SustainabilityPerformanceand Reporting(40%)

  • ManagesMicrosoftSustainability Manager platform to streamline data collection and analysis
  • Drivesactionablebusiness insightstoidentifytrends, emission hotspots,riskand opportunities.
  • SupportCorporate team onSustainability relatedrisk assessments
  • Assist and prepare work with theCorporateSustainabilityPerformanceteam on adapting methodologies and data gathering to move towards more activity-based reporting on carbon emissions, ensuring these are appropriate and realistic for the local teams and will ensure actions and progress can be reflected in the data (e.g. Events, Capital Goods)

SustainabilityFinancein Business decisions (40%)

  • Lead the development of an effective FinanceSustainabilityFramework on governance, KPI, and metricsacross NorthAsia and SEAAregionin collaboration with Global for allinvestment decisions. Ensure cross-functional involvement, change management, training, and ownership of theobjectivesare agreed and achieved.
  • Engagewith Global/Regional/Local teams to align on long-term strategy andconsolidatenet zero carbon spend and emissions and otherSustainabilityareas to support future TCFD reporting or similar Industry requirements.
  • Work together with Global / Regional resources dedicated to the CSRD project, to understand needs, supportimplementation.
  • Coordinate implementation of new policies related toSustainabilityconsiderations and work collaboratively across the Regional Business Finance team & and Global Corporate team to develop guidelines for OPEX and CAPEX budgeting with KPI that include short and long-sustainability factors.

Manage the overall controlling and planning of theSustainabilityFunctionatRegional level(20%)

  • Striveto implement appropriatemethodologyprocesses/tools to effectively drive thesustainabilityfinancial performance.
  • Support the investment activities on Sustainability and ensuring the right governance is in place.
  • Managethe overallsustainabilityfunction controlling and budgeting, including supplementing and implementing enhancements to our financial projection models
  • Communicateperspectives about the function of region and markets’ financial performance to the stakeholders, incorporating insights into the group’s outlook.
  • Managethe overall financial budgeting and monitoring sustainability activities to provide Smart Analytics that can be turned into actionable insights and enable management to make the best decisions.

RoleSpecifications:

Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Accounting, Management Systems, Economics, or Quantitative Finance.
  • CPA/CA/ICAAor equivalent – thorough knowledge of accounting / financial concepts and principles

Work Experience

  • Significant experienceinworking in Sustainabilityis preferred.
  • Minimum6yearsof experience in reporting, extensive knowledge in external reporting and compliance, and a passion for ESG reporting.
