Job Description

This is a hybrid role. Upon agreement between you and your supervisor, you are entitled to a flexible arrangement where you will be able to split your time between working from the office and working remotely.

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and ongoing management of employee benefit programs across the EMEA region, with potential limited scope of support for LATAM or other regions as required. This role partners closely with internal HR stakeholders, external vendors, and consultants to ensure benefit programs are competitive, compliant, and effectively administered.

Operating in a complex and multi-country environment, this role focuses on vendor management, annual renewals, enrollment activities, compliance, and continuous improvement of benefits processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration & Operations

  • Administer employee benefit programs across multiple EMEA countries, including health, insurance, retirement, and statutory benefits.
  • Manage annual enrollment and life event activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and employee understanding.
  • Maintain benefits data, documentation, and governance materials to support audits and internal controls.
  • Support ongoing benefits operations, including eligibility management, vendor file feeds, and issue resolution.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a contact for regional benefit vendors and brokers.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to ensure service delivery, issue resolution, and contractual compliance.
  • Support annual renewal activities, including data preparation, vendor analysis, and recommendation development.
  • Partner with HRBPs, TRBPs, payroll, finance, and managers to support business and employee needs.

Compliance, Governance & Audit

  • Ensure benefit programs comply with local labor laws, social security requirements, and regulatory standards across EMEA.
  • Support internal and external audits related to benefits programs.
  • Monitor legislative and market changes and escalate risks or required changes proactively.
  • Ensure documentation, plan governance, and approvals are maintained according to company standards.

Process Improvement & Program Enhancement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline benefits administration, enrollment processes, and regional workflows.
  • Support global and regional benefits initiatives, system upgrades, and harmonization efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to employee experience, cost management, and operational efficiency.

Communication & Employee Support

  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee-facing benefits communications.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries, providing clear and accurate guidance.
  • Support change management efforts related to new or updated benefits programs.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 -5 years of experience supporting regional or multi-country benefits programs (EMEA experience strongly preferred).
  • Advanced English (C1).
  • Benefits Expertise: Demonstrates strong knowledge of employee benefits principles and market practices, particularly across EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Understands statutory and supplemental benefits requirements and ensures programs align with local regulations and governance standards.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Analyzes benefits data, renewals, and vendor proposals to identify issues, assess impact, and support informed decision-making.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Effectively partners with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery, issue resolution, and program effectiveness.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates benefits information clearly and professionally to employees, managers, and HR partners across diverse populations.
  • Systems & Process Acumen: Leverages HRIS and benefits administration systems to support accurate data management, reporting, and process efficiency.
