Position Summary

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced SMB, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) and Retail Business Development Business Development Manager to join our Integrated B2B team in our regional office in Singapore, supporting Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO).

The role will focus on developing and executing strategies to grow the SMB, QSR, and Retail business across online and offline channels, while identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with key customers and partners across the region.

Role and Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive business development initiatives, develop strategic customer and partner relationships, and translate market opportunities into actionable business plans that support regional growth and revenue targets.

In this role, you will bring strong SMB, QSR, and Retail industry knowledge, an established regional network, and proven experience in B2B sales or business development. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across markets, using your commercial expertise and influence to build opportunities, align priorities, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Strategy for SMB, QSR and Retail Sales ​:

• Define and align sales strategy with company's overall objectives for the for SMB, QSR and Retail segments in SEAO
• Identify high-growth opportunities and prioritize target accounts across for SMB, QSR and Retail
• Develop tailored value propositions highlighting solution's capabilities addressing the pain points of for SMB, QSR and Retail customers

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and alliances across the for SMB, QSR and Retail industries
• Lead generation, qualification, and conversion of prospects into customers
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities

Market Research and Analysis:

• Stay updated on SMB, QSR and Retail industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activity
• Analyze market data to identify opportunities, challenges, and market positioning
• Leverage insights to inform sales strategy and value proposition development

Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain relationships with key prospects, partners, and stakeholders across the for SMB, QSR and Retail industries
• Represent Samsung Electronics at industry events and thought leadership forums
• Foster strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in target accounts

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B IT sales experience, with strong experience in the for SMB, QSR and Retail industry across Southeast Asia & Oceania (SEAO)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering business growth
• Strong understanding of the SMB, QSR and Retail sectors, including market trends, challenges, and key players
• Strong experience managing complex sales cycles, strategic accounts, negotiations, and deal closures
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to develop and deliver thought leadership content and presentations for customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with an established SMB, QSR and Retail network.
• Ability to identify and engage new customers and strategic partners
• Strong analytical and operational skills, with a structured and results-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (SFDC) is required
• Hands-on and execution-oriented, with the ability to take a broader strategic perspective
• Ability to influence, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering accountability and collaboration
