Regional Account Manager for Automotive – Region North

The role that you will play:

  • Leads the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio of products and services in the northern region for focus automotive customers
  • Supports Automotive customers to take advantage of Siemens solutions more effectively.
  • Analyzes and evaluates markets (both product and services portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers to identify additional sales potential.
  • Drives customer-specific global strategies and integrates new solutions from our growing portfolio into the customer landscape.
  • Together with the customer, works out tailor-made solutions particularly in the Engineering and Production environments including all related domains.
  • Executes sales targets for direct/indirect, local/international business.
  • Executes activities and measures at dedicated accounts to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.
  • Works out short and long-term sales strategies in the field of Siemens Digital Industries Strategy in region North.
  • Gets to know the products' portfolio's technical features in details and keeps this knowledge up to date.
  • Generate new business opportunities through tracking investments
  • Deliver on quarterly and annual numbers while maintaining focus on competition, customer, and technology landscapes to form a strategic near- and long-term outlook
  • Identify and build strong relationships with customers and uncover customer desired objectives or needs
  • Coordinates workshops and events related to the portfolio of products and services. Supports other Account Managers with specific product knowledge (e.g. participates on customer meetings and negotiations).
  • Takes part in the orders and revenue business planning.
  • Supports the overall assigned KAM organization and plans sales volumes and potential of key targeted customers.
  • Supports strategic key customers' business development.
  • Through the complete sales cycle, orchestrates teams both local and international, including the internal interfaces like e.g. Presales, Services, Product Management, Technical Specialists, Partners.
  • Contributes to the development of a Pre- and After Sales Service that is focused on customers' needs.
  • Open to changes, new challenges on the market and has entrepreneurial spirit.

What would we like from your side?

  • At least 5 years working in the automotive industry. Proven experience dealing with customer organizations at different departments.
  • Secure and sovereign behavior dealing also with C-Level.
  • At least 7 - 10 years working experience including shown experience handling complex business relationships and working within cross functional teams/processes to achieve goals. Strong ability to build solutions across multiple partners in complex relationships is important.
  • Experience in automation and industrial software solutions and any other related field 7 - 10 years.
  • Knowledge of the Mexican automotive market.
  • University degree.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Advanced English language knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Business results and customer orientation.
  • Travel availability 50%
