Job Description

A Day in the Life

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in accelerating Monster Energy’s growth across Canada. Working closely with Coca-Cola, our distribution partner, and key regional customers, you’ll help implement Monster Energy’s commercial strategies, identify growth opportunities, influence customer plans, and turn strategy into strong execution at retail.

This is a highly collaborative sales role for someone who thrives on building relationships, influencing outcomes, and connecting strategy to execution. You’ll work across Monster Energy, Coca-Cola and our customers to expand distribution, strengthen execution, and drive sustainable sales growth.

Success in this role means becoming a trusted partner to Coca-Cola and our customers while being a strong champion of Monster Energy’s strategies and priorities. You’ll combine strong sales instincts, relationships and influence to identify opportunities, shape plans and turn strategy into action. You’ll be someone who sees what’s possible, brings solutions forward and works collaboratively across organizations to deliver great execution in the market.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Implement Monster Energy’s commercial strategies within assigned accounts, partnering closely with Coca-Cola and customers to translate priorities into actionable plans and strong execution at retail.
  • Build strong relationships with Coca-Cola and key regional customers, creating alignment around opportunities, priorities and execution.
  • Partner with Coca-Cola to bring Monster Energy’s strategies to life, helping develop customer plans that drive growth and strengthen our position in the market.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across distribution, assortment, merchandising, promotions and in-store execution.
  • Influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders, connecting Monster Energy, Coca-Cola and customer priorities to move opportunities forward.
  • Champion execution, working with Coca-Cola and internal partners to ensure agreed plans translate into results at retail.
  • Stay close to the market, developing a strong understanding of customers, consumers, competitors and emerging retail trends to identify where Monster Energy can win.
  • Bring solutions, not just information, sharing insights, ideas and recommendations that help the business make better decisions and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Understand the business impact of decisions, making thoughtful trade-offs and helping focus resources against the strongest opportunities.
  • Communicate with impact, providing clear and timely updates while keeping key stakeholders aligned on priorities, opportunities, risks and next steps.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of progressive sales or account management experience within CPG, retail, beverage, broker or distributor environments
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across customers, Coca-Cola and internal teams
  • Strong sales and business mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and turn strategy into action
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and organizations
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
