Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Basildon Borough Council (BBC) to recruit a Regeneration & Economic Growth Senior Officer on an initial 5-6-month temporary basis. Please note that this post will be based in the office 2-3 days per week. Why Basildon? Main Purpose: We are looking to appoint a Regeneration & Economic Growth Senior Officer to support Basildon Borough Council in its commitment to achieving sustainable regeneration and economic development in the Borough. The post-holder will be contributing to the inclusive regeneration and economic growth of the Borough by managing projects and working with partners with a key focus on inward investment and employment and skills. These projects might include events, business support initiatives or skills and employability programmes. The post-holder will be expected to work closely with local partners, community groups, residents, businesses, schools and skills providers to ensure that opportunities are cascaded to all parts of our local community.
