Refugee Resettlement assists in helping create a home-away-from-home, we assist government-approved refugees in becoming self-sufficient through cultural orientation, job development, family reunification and resettlement. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for organizing data for reports, evaluating performance measures, improving systems for tracking program outcomes, and assisting the Program Director with other duties related to the quality of Refugee Resettlement programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information, ability to work in a diverse setting, and show enthusiasm and commitment to working with the refugee community.What you DeliverEnsuring compliance of refugee resettlement grants with official guidelines, overseeing file documentation, ensuring all forms are reviewed and up to date, researching and collaborating in the writing of grants, creating, or updating training materials for all programs, ensuring compliance of processes and procedures within the Refugee Resettlement department, improving systems for tracking and maintaining data.Assisting in the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of program evaluation strategies. Supporting department efforts to provide quality services to clients, collect and report performance data. Works to develop and implement necessary instruments, forms, surveys, and other reports used for various program evaluation activities.Performing other duties as assigned. Attending meetings with other service providers, participate in staff retreats, United Way tours, agency fairs and speaking engagements; assist with special organizational project/events, and other duties as assigned.
