Our client, a leading company in Malta's Hospitality & Leisure sector, is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join their Maintenance Team. The group operates renowned hotels, spas, restaurants, and international outlets, offering a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and appliances, including walk-in freezers, industrial cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, and water coolers.
Carry out regular inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
Log and manage tasks through the work order management system.
Install new equipment, repair leaks, and replace defective parts.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to resolve maintenance issues effectively.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, including after-hours calls.
Requirements
Excellent soldering and brazing skills (oxygen/propane).
Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical manuals.
Refrigerant transition and recovery certification.
Solid understanding of electrical practices and commercial refrigeration systems.
Basic plumbing knowledge and computer literacy.
Previous experience in a similar role and ability to work independently.
Valid driving license.
