
Job objective
Refrigeration technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment Refrigeration technician will be implementing regular preventive maintenance duties according to GEPD SOPs, while performing corrective maintenance as required by manufacturer recommendation and as per equipment manuals.
Key responsibility
- Refrigeration technician will improve, repair, do preventive and corrective maintenance work on all HVAC / Refrigeration equipment, along with all plant auxiliary systems connected to HVAC / Refrigeration systems.
- Perform tasks related to pipe fitting, welding, compressors maintenance, along with changing valves, solenoids and pressure relief ports.
- Make repairs to systems such as, compressors, replacing bearings, belts, filters, and charge refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits.
- Ensure that equipment is repaired and maintained in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and/or manufacturers specification.
- Performs both scheduled and unplanned work on a wide variety of equipment and systems, including Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance.
- Identify needed equipment, spare parts, and supplies necessary to complete repairs.
- Refrigeration technician will be working flexible hours and should be on call 24/7 according to business need and only in cases of emergency.
- Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to GEPD maintenance and Operations departments SOPs.
- Adhere to safety policies related to both product and personal.
Academic experience required
Technical High School Diploma in refrigeration and air conditioning
Professional experience required
Minimum 5 Years of Experience in the field of maintenance at the fields of healthcare and blood banks, food industries or Hospitality industry.

We are combining the expertise of both shareholders to build and operate 20 plasma donation centers throughout Egypt, along with manufacturing facilities including fractionation, purification, and fill-and-finish plants with a processing capacity of up to 1 million liters of plasma annually that can double in the future.
The new manufacturing facility will include a plasma warehouse and a testing laboratory. It will occupy 105,000 square meters strategically located in the administrative capital’s medical city, adjoining various healthcare institutions.
