About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior HVAC Technician / Project Manager to join our Dunedin team. This position is suited to a skilled professional with extensive technical knowledge, strong leadership capability, and proven experience managing HVAC projects from inception through to completion

The key skills required for this role include:

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems

• Fault diagnosis and repair of commercial systems

• Management and coordination of HVAC projects, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation

• Oversight of site operations and subcontractors

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards

• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians

• Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery

• Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality outcomes

You must have:

• Extensive experience within the HVAC / air conditioning industry

• Demonstrated project management or supervisory experience

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications, IQP registered or willing to obtain

• Current driver’s license

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
