Refinement Operator

Salary: £32,891.04 per annum

Four on Four off Shift Pattern
5am – 5pm and 11am – 11pm

Overtime paid at 1.5 times

In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day operating and monitoring of the refinement area of the plant to ensure a safe, clean, and productive environment is maintained at all times.

Our team is a close knit one, and we pride ourselves on our family feel. Joining our Refinement team will mean liaising closely with colleagues responsible for other elements of the site, so it can function as an integrated whole, and run at maximum levels of safety, availability and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensure the highest level of housekeeping is maintained to ensure Health & Safety and Environmental compliance.

• Responsibility for operating refinement to ensure desired outputs and required quality is achieved

• Report on a daily basis performance of the plant to the refinement controller

• Providing light maintenance of equipment through autonomous maintenance practice

Requirements

Essential criteria for this role:

• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Good people skills; be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally
• Experience in collecting data/recording/communication of operational data
• Knowledge of MRF plant operations advantageous
• Good organisational skills
• Good understanding of process figures with a drive to hit to targets
• Strong Microsoft office skills
