The goal of the VCA Referral Coordinator is to develop, cultivate, maintain, and track, unique relationships with the hospital’s referring doctors and potential referral base. In addition, the referral advocate works closely with the Specialty Marketing Manager to determine the impact of rDVM marketing communication efforts as well as future rDVM marketing needs.
Primary Objective: Increase revenue by building relationships with the local veterinary community so they are aware of the hospital’s services, staff, and quality of care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Become familiar with the hospital you represent, understand how information is shared, work flow process, and its staff with their respective specialties/roles, policies, and protocols.
Understand the relationship with the hospital’s rDVMs
Keep rDVM contact list up to date
Coordinate ongoing rDVM visits with hospital’s specialists and Hospital ManagerWorking with Marketing Manager track visits and organize needed marketing material as well as develop strategy to cultivate or strengthen rDVM relationship.
Track marketing inventory – working with marketing manager and courier to anticipate supply needs - (discharge folders, rDVM magnets, patient bags, brochures, pet waste bag dispensers, pet lids, etc.)
Call Rail – monthly tracking of client phone numbers & accompanying revenue with digital marketing tracking phone numbers
Coordinate CE events for rDVMs – work with Marketing Manager on needed promotion (website, mailers, constant contact, Eventbrite) as well as materials needed, cost, content, promotion, and ROICreate report to determining impact with rDVMsreferrals and track.
Provide images and content for social media sharing and website blog to Marketing Manager (ensure client has signed consent form for release and medical information accurate)
Provide staff headshots to Marketing Manager for website updates, The Rounds – rDVM newsletter
Provide pertinent content (new doctors, equipment, CE events) to Marketing Manager for The Rounds – rDVM newsletter
Holiday gifts – manage order, distribution
Customer Journey - determine areas needing to be improved or created to enhance the customer experience
This position pays $19.00 - $24.00, dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.
