TITLE: Laborer

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Laborer Production contributes to the manufacturing environment by supporting daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering consistent, high-quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift operating experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical and math aptitude
• Available to work any shift as needed
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist
• Cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
• Operates and maintains forklift trucks in a proper and safe manner including the daily maintenance inspection.
• Performs general plant labor including light plant cleaning and taking out trash to the dumpsters
• Trains to assist on machinery in production plant
• Adheres to all company safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Conforms to all Reef policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested by management
