  • Responsibility to develop new ideas for material cost savings
  • Conceptualize, organize and run Meetings, Workshops, Events to foster innovation and create new ideas for material cost savings
  • Evaluate new ideas in form of Business Case and prioritize with regards to saving potential vs. time-to-market
  • Align new ideas with Segments' responsible / change processes to initiate implementation
  • Tracking of implementation of saving ideas with regards to expected time plan
  • Identify blocking points and review together with x-disciplines for potential enablers
  • Escalation of potential delays/loss of ideas with significant saving potentials - creation of back-up planning to ensure target fulfilment
  • Close alignment with Segments' change steering functions
  • Regular reporting of ReDTC savings for ongoing and upcoming two years.
  • Organize and run ReDTC status reviews on Business Area Purchasing Level
  • Participate and support ReDTC Reporting / Close-the-gap meeting at Purchasing Board, as well as Business Area Management
  • Regular alignment and review on ReDTC Process itself and process responsible functions
  • Joining and representing Business Area Safety and Motion in regular alignments with ReDTC Managers, Controlling representatives of other Business Areas.
  • Identification of optimization potentials on processes and reporting, evaluation and potential rollout/process-CAP update

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideal Master's degree in Economics/Technical studies or relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years in Purchasing / 3 years in R&D / 3 years in Project Management / 3 years in Innovation Management functions
  • Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge
  • Strong English and communication skills
  • Management skills, tools and techniques which ensures a strategic, profit and resulted oriented handling (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, etc.)
  • Structured approaches, Problem solving, Breaking resistance
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
  • Organization, preparation, moderation of Workshops (internal and/or suppliers) to find new ideas
  • Collaboration skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking)
  • Technical understanding of specific components
  • Innovation techniques
