To support the planning team in preparing schedules, analyzing data, monitoring performance, and assisting with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities. The role will also support the use of automation, robotics, and digital tools to simplify planning processes, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Job Description
Planning & Performance Management
- Prepare plans, forecasts, schedules, reports, dashboards, and presentations for demand, supply, inventory, production, capacity, and financial planning.
- Support demand reviews, supply reviews, pre-S&OP meetings, executive S&OP meetings, and IBP activities.
- Compare demand and supply plans, monitor performance, and highlight variances, risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
- Track key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, service levels, capacity, and plan adherence.
- Maintain accurate planning data, records, templates, and meeting action logs.
Data Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collect and analyze data from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and other departments.
- Prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to support business reviews and decision-making.
- Work with different teams to align plans, follow up on actions, and support effective planning processes.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify manual and repetitive activities and support the development of automated reports, dashboards, workflows, and planning tools.
- Assist with robotics and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to reduce manual work, errors, and processing time.
- Test, document, and improve automated planning processes.
- Participate in training, graduate projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or up to 1-2 years experience
- Strong interest in learning about operations, supply chain, planning, and business processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, data, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and build positive working relationships.
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Open-minded and adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through on commitments.
- Ability to explain information clearly and highlight issues when needed.
- Interest in improving processes and finding simpler, more efficient ways of working.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Previous internship, university project, or extracurricular experience in operations, supply chain, analytics, or process improvement is an advantage, but not required.
