As a Hybrid Equipment Operator and Swing Driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:

  • Operating heavy equipment to manage incoming recycled material, such as: front end loaders, skid steers, cardboard baler, and compactors
  • Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment
  • Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • Operating a variety of waste collections vehicles as needed by the business, including roll-off, front-end, and molok trucks.
  • Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5AM to 2:30 PM. Must be available for rotating statutory holidays, call-ins and possible Overtime.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
  • Valid DZ or AZ Driver’s license
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
