Working hours: 9:30am - 2:30pm

The role

We’re looking for a Recycling Attendant to join our team our site in Tieri. As a Recycling Attendant, you’ll work closely with customers to guide them on safe and effective recycling practices, salvage materials for reuse, and contribute to our mission of reducing waste while promoting sustainability.

What you’ll do

  • Greet and assist customers with recycling and disposal practices.
  • Identify and sort recyclable materials such as metals, wood, cardboard, and household goods.
  • Help move materials across the facility in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Support our Reuse Shop, giving second life to items like clothing, building materials, and garden supplies.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
