American Veterinary Group (AVG) is seeking a passionate and creative Recruitment Marketing Manager to join our growing team! If you're a skilled storyteller with a knack for design and a passion for building engaging online communities, we want to hear from you.

As our Recruitment Marketing Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and amplifying our employer brand, attracting top talent to join our mission of providing exceptional veterinary care. You'll be the driving force behind our recruitment marketing efforts, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand experience across all touchpoints.

  • Craft Compelling Content and Campaign Performance: (50%)
    • Write and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns for existing and new veterinary candidates to increase interest in working with AVG
    • Develop targeted campaigns that nurture relationships across the veterinarian talent pipeline to include veterinarians, support staff and/or practice managers.
    • Track and improve key KPIs including email and SMS volume, open rates, response rates, and candidate interest to increase hiring volume
  • Strengthen Talent Brand Through Digital Presence and Recruitment Marketing: (30%)
    • Design and maintain a visually engaging careers website
    • Create on brand recruitment materials across digital and print channels
    • Lead conference and career fair marketing, including swag and material design, social media pre-launch, live event coverage, and post event follow up to amplify employer brand visibility
    • Develop and manage social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google
    • Execute social media strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and employer brand visibility
    • Drive initiatives that increase online review volume and improve star ratings across candidate facing platforms
    • Use Canva and Adobe tools to produce high quality visual assets
    • Track performance and optimize digital, social, and reputation initiatives based on result
  • Veterinary Extern Experience and Academic Partnerships: (20%)
    • Strengthen relationships with veterinary schools and academic partners in target markets
    • Coordinate with hospitals to ensure smooth extern scheduling and onsite experience
    • Improve extern first impressions to support early engagement and long-term pipeline development
    • Track extern candidates, evaluate program effectiveness, and drive process improvements with the goal of hiring DVMs upon completion of training

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent branding, recruitment marketing, or employer branding.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong design skills, with proficiency in Canva and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A passion for animal welfare and the veterinary field is a plus.
