We need an exceptionally talented Recruiting Manager to help us find the best talent in the world to support our growth in India. The Amazon recruiting team is seeking a talented; results oriented Recruiting Manager with a passion for delighting the client and candidate, to join our recruiting organization.

Key job responsibilities
Drive sourcing strategy and team capability by building diverse candidate pools, leveraging multiple talent channels, and coaching your team on best practices in candidate sourcing and engagement.

Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand talent needs, influence hiring strategies, and ensure candidates receive a high-quality experience throughout the recruitment process.

Build, engage, and develop your recruiting team in a fast-paced environment by setting clear performance goals, establishing metrics and tracking processes, and creating opportunities for professional growth.

Identify and implement productivity improvements that enable your team to meet hiring goals efficiently while maintaining quality and candidate experience standards.

Lead cross-functional initiatives related to talent acquisition strategy, working with stakeholders across the organization to share insights and drive continuous improvement in our recruiting processes.

A day in the life
In this role, you'll focus on building sourcing capability and capacity across your recruiting team while maintaining close partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders. You'll spend time analyzing market trends to identify where the best talent resides, coaching your team on effective sourcing strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to refine our approach to candidate assessment and experience. You'll also work on special projects that help us innovate our talent acquisition processes, all while tracking team performance metrics and identifying ways to improve productivity and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications


- 6+ years of recruiting or HR experience
- Experience in recruiting or HR
- Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team
- Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of team leadership and development experience
- Experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
- Experience managing senior staff or staffing managers
- Experience with workforce planning
- Experience partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations
