Our US-based client is a growing home-efficiency company helping homeowners across Texas improve comfort, reduce energy costs, and increase the long-term value of their homes. The company provides a range of solutions including HVAC, solar, roofing, insulation, windows, and other energy-efficiency upgrades.As the company continues to grow, we’re looking for a General Recruitment Manager who can take ownership of recruitment, build strong talent pipelines, and help ensure the company can consistently attract and hire the talent it needs.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced General Recruitment Manager with 5+ years of recruiting experience, including hands-on experience recruiting for the US market. The General Recruitment Manager will be responsible for managing recruitment processes from sourcing through offer acceptance, partnering closely with leadership and hiring managers, building qualified candidate pipelines, and ensuring hiring needs are addressed efficiently.

The role is highly hands-on. We are looking for someone who can independently manage recruitment, make practical decisions, solve hiring challenges, and consistently deliver against hiring targets. You may recruit for a variety of functions, departments, and levels depending on the company's hiring needs.

As the company grows, there may also be an opportunity to lead and support a recruitment team. This will be based on performance in the role and demonstrated leadership ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes across departments, functions, and seniority levels, from sourcing through offer acceptance, supporting the company’s growth by attracting and hiring talent across a wide range of positions, including leadership, sales, and administrative roles.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, priorities, and candidate profiles.
  • Develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies based on each role's requirements.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously while working toward established hiring targets.
  • Conduct candidate screening and interviews and assess candidates against role requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication and follow-up with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follow up with hiring managers to gather feedback, address bottlenecks, and keep hiring processes moving.
  • Conduct reference checks and support the recruitment process through offer acceptance.
  • Provide leadership with clear updates on hiring progress, pipeline quality, challenges, and expected timelines.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activity, and pipeline data in the ATS.
  • Track recruitment KPIs and use data to identify opportunities to improve hiring performance.
  • Conduct market research and talent mapping to support difficult or specialized searches.
  • Identify recruitment challenges and provide practical, executable recommendations to leadership.
  • Help develop and improve recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, workflows, and candidate experience as the company scales.
  • Take ownership of recruitment outcomes and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and results.
  • Potentially take on responsibility for supporting or leading other recruiters as the company’s operations grow.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for the US market is required.
  • Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of roles, industries, or seniority levels.
  • Strong proactive sourcing and candidate research skills, particularly through LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working toward clear recruitment targets, KPIs, and deadlines.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to conduct professional interviews and confidently assess candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical recommendations.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Experience using an ATS or recruiting CRM and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to take initiative, influence others, and eventually support or lead a recruitment team.
  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades, home services, construction, solar, HVAC, or related industries is a plus, but is not required.
