At Jonsson Workwear, the quality of our business is defined by the quality of our people. From how our garments are designed, to how they are made and delivered, it is the strength of our teams that enables us to perform at the level we expect.
Hiring plays a central role in this. Our leaders build their own teams and are accountable for the decisions they make. Recruitment exists to strengthen this, bringing commercial insight, structure and perspective to ensure that hiring decisions are well considered and consistently aligned to how we operate. This requires a clear understanding of the business, how teams function and the type of individual who will succeed in a hard-working, performance-driven environment.
This is where our Recruitment Leader makes an impact. You shape how hiring is approached across the business, connecting what teams need with the people who will perform in them. You anticipate demand, guide decisions with confidence and maintain clear, consistent standards.
You take ownership of quality, apply a high level of attention to detail and continuously look for ways to improve how we operate. You are driven to rethink how work gets done, using technology to create smarter, faster and more effective ways of operating without losing what makes the process human.
As our Recruitment Leader, you will:
In line with Jonsson Workwear’s commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.

Our story of purpose has seen us evolve into a revolutionary workwear business, supplying quality garments to local and international markets. We want to empower all working people to perform at their peak every day and this underpins our customer-centric approach to deliver the ultimate workwear experience. We are proud to own and control our entire supply chain, with our manufacturing facilities based in Lesotho and Mauritius, producing over 40 000 garments a day. These garments are distributed through our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre based in Johannesburg, which has the capacity to move 20 million pieces annually. Our Headquarters are located at the historic Lion Match building in Durban with our raw materials warehouse strategically located in the Riverhorse precinct, which serves as a central storage space for fabric and trims, helping us ensure efficient turnaround times.
With our iconic stores located nationwide, we can cater the widest range of workwear to fit all industries. Each of our stores are equipped with friendly product experts, convenient customisation facilities and complimentary coffee while you shop.
Our company promotes a culture of self-development and lifelong learning. Your attitude, grit and ability to continuously learn and evolve determines how far you will go. Our people are not defined by titles, qualifications, or status. Being aligned with our values, having a positive attitude, and an energetic and curious nature are far more important.
