At CJ Schwan's, we're looking for an organized, customer-focused Recruiting Coordinator at our corporate headquarters in Hopkins, Minnesota. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early career professional looking to launch their career!
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and our HR team throughout the hiring process. You'll gain exposure to recruiting operations, HR systems, compliance, reporting, and cross-functional projects while developing skills that can lead to future opportunities in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or other areas across the organization. If you're someone who enjoys working independently, providing exceptional customer service, solving problems, and ensuring every detail is handled accurately, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
• Administer pre-employment processes including background checks, drug testing, and DOT physicals while ensuring compliance with company requirements and exercising sound judgement.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate logistics across the organization, partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and administrative support teams to deliver a seamless interview experience.
• Maintain accurate candidate data across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity and timely completion of pre-employment activities.
• Assist with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations, including process improvements, system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and special projects that support business priorities.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders and external candidates by serving as a responsive and reliable point of contact throughout the hiring process.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, enhance the candidate experience, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Internship, customer service, administrative, HR, recruiting, or other professional experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams and the ability to learn and navigate new technology platforms.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $16.70 - $29.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
