We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to play a key role in delivering strategic recruitment solutions and exceptional service to clients across the business. In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, build strong pipelines of qualified candidates, and work to successfully fill allocated job requisitions. You’ll also develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients while ensuring all activities align with company performance metrics and Objectives and Key Results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and is passionate about connecting great talent with the right opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Consult with clients to assess and respond to the specific requirements of each assignment.

  • Post job advertisements across company websites, job boards, and social media platforms as needed.

  • Source suitable candidates and brief them on the opportunities offered by clients.

  • Present candidate profiles and CVs to clients and obtain timely feedback.

  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews as well as reference checks.

  • Manage the recruitment process through to offer stage and beyond, including offer letters, inductions, feedback, and ongoing communication.

  • Ensure candidate pools are maintained at appropriate levels to meet client hiring needs.

  • Act as a recruitment and HR partner to clients by providing recruitment and related HR services as required.

  • Attract candidates, build strong relationships, and support local workforce capability through industry employment opportunities.

  • Ensure the safety of all internal and on-hired staff by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.

  • Attract candidates and maintain a strong and up-to-date talent database.

  • Maintain regular contact with candidates, including face-to-face meetings when required.

  • Ensure the database is accurately maintained at all times to support the efficient filling of job orders.

  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, sales meetings, and other head office meetings.

  • Develop constructive and team-oriented working relationships with colleagues across the business.

  • Participate in professional development activities, including internal and external training, mentoring, and support programs.


Requirements


What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

Requirements/ Skills Needed:

  • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience within the Australian market, with a strong focus on blue-collar roles.

  • Possess knowledge of or experience recruiting within oil and gas, mining, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and trades candidate markets.

  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based tools, with exposure to recruitment and CRM databases.

  • Exhibit excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Have hands-on experience using ATS platforms and job boards such as JobAdder, SEEK, Indeed, and LinkedIn.

  • Be a natural people person and networker with the ability to establish, maintain, and strengthen positive business relationships.

  • Demonstrate a positive, energetic, and resilient attitude.

  • Work autonomously, stay self-motivated, and take ownership of achieving success.

  • Be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Communicate effectively through strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills across all levels.

  • Apply sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
