Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Slough to assist with the appointment of a Recruitment Consultant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £24.00 - £31.67 per hour

The Recruitment Consultant will provide expert advice on recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and market trends while managing multiple recruitment campaigns and ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy creation through to onboarding.
  • Manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously, ensuring all vacancies are progressed efficiently and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Advise hiring managers on attraction strategies, recruitment best practices, and compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent through a range of recruitment channels.
  • Produce compelling job advertisements and utilise comprehensive job descriptions to identify suitable candidates.
  • Screen applications, coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and oversee offer and onboarding activities.

Essentials

  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or resourcing
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns across multiple vacancies.

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, candidate attraction methods, and employment legislation.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within agreed timescales.

  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires a Basic DBS
