We're hiring a Recruitment & Operations Assistant based in Islamabad or Rawalpindi to own the hands-on recruitment execution for our growing client base, while also supporting day-to-day operations tasks. You'll be posting roles through our ATS, screening applicants against defined criteria, and running first-round interviews — essentially acting as the first line of quality control for who moves forward in our hiring pipeline.
This is a full-time, remote role working US Eastern Time hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST), which falls in the evening/overnight in Pakistan — approximately 6:00 PM–2:00 AM PKT (during US Daylight Saving Time) or 7:00 PM–3:00 AM PKT (during US Standard Time, roughly November–March). Candidates should be fully comfortable with a permanent night shift on this schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Post open roles through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) using approved job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Screen inbound applicants against a defined scorecard before advancing them in the pipeline
- Conduct first-round interviews via video call to assess communication, experience, and role fit
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and interview notes
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and internal hiring stakeholders
- Deliver a professional, responsive candidate experience from application through decision
- Support day-to-day operations tasks as assigned — documentation, tracking, and coordination across internal teams and tools
- Help maintain internal process documentation and checklists
- Provide light reporting on hiring pipeline status and operations tasks
- Flag issues or bottlenecks proactively rather than waiting to be asked
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2–3 years of hands-on recruitment/hiring experience — sourcing, screening, and interviewing (agency or in-house)
- Fluent, bilingual-level English, spoken and written — you'll be interviewing candidates on video calls, so clear and professional communication is essential
- Based in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, and able to work reliably from that location
- Able to consistently work the EST-aligned shift (evening/overnight PKT), Monday–Friday
- Comfortable using an ATS (any ATS experience is a plus — we'll train on our specific system)
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through, since this role directly affects who gets hired
- Self-starter who can manage a queue of candidates and tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with everyday tools: Google Workspace/Docs/Sheets, Zoom, Slack/WhatsApp
Nice to have:
- Experience recruiting for remote/virtual assistant or BPO-style roles
- Exposure to CRM or HR tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, or similar
- Prior experience working directly with a US/Canada-based company or client
