Position Summary:
The Recruitment & Marketing Specialist (RMS) supports Advantage Behavioral Health Systems by driving talent attraction, recruitment operations, employer branding, and community engagement. This role blends strategic marketing with hands-on recruitment activities to ensure the organization attracts, engages, and hires qualified candidates who support the agency’s Mission and Vision. The RMS manages candidate pipelines, promotes the employer brand across digital and in-person channels, and builds partnerships that strengthen long-term workforce development.

Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:
Attraction & Sourcing
- Develop and execute targeted attraction strategies to reach qualified candidate groups.
- Create compelling job ads, promotional materials, and recruitment messaging aligned with employer brand standards.
- Distribute job postings across job boards, career sites, niche platforms, and community networks.
- Track source effectiveness, click-through rates, and application flow to optimize campaigns.
- Adjust attraction strategies based on performance data and hiring needs.
Recruitment Operations
- Create and manage job requisitions in the HRIS.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and manage applicant flow.
- Coordinate interviews and align candidate availability with hiring managers.
- Generate and send offer letters through the HRIS.
- Manage candidate decision points, including documenting offer declines, closing requisitions, or reopening searches.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and internal hiring policies.
Employer Branding
- Develop and maintain Advantage’s employer value proposition and key messaging.
- Ensure consistent use of logos, colors, and visual identity across recruitment materials.
- Maintain and update the career site with job postings, culture content, and employee stories.
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing to ensure alignment in tone, messaging, and brand representation.
- Monitor online reputation (e.g., Glassdoor, Indeed) and support appropriate responses.
Job Fairs & Hiring Events
- Identify and select cost-effective job fairs, university events, and community hiring opportunities.
- Register for events, secure booth space, and prepare recruitment materials.
- Represent the organization at events or coordinate staffing with internal ambassadors.
- Engage with candidates, collect resumes, and promote open positions.
- Enter candidate information into Paycom and conduct timely follow-up.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Develop and maintain a recruitment-focused content calendar.
- Create posts, graphics, and messaging that highlight job openings, culture, and employee experiences.
- Schedule and publish content in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Respond to comments, messages, and candidate inquiries across platforms.
- Track analytics to measure reach, engagement, and applicant flow from social channels.
Outreach & Community Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, and community organizations.
- Coordinate internship, apprenticeship, and referral programs.
- Attend networking events, host information sessions, and deliver presentations.
- Conduct outreach to passive candidates through LinkedIn, email, and professional associations.
- Track outreach efforts and candidate pipelines in the HRIS or CRM tools.
Special Projects & Agency Support
- Participate in projects that impact recruitment, workforce development, or employer branding.
- Support HR initiatives related to staffing, retention, and organizational culture.
- Assist with reporting, audits, and compliance documentation as needed.

QualificationsMinimum

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND two years of recruitment, marketing, or advertising experience OR Four years of human resources experience with a marketing focus that included employment screening and/or recruitment events and activities.

A Community Service Board (CSB) is the governing body for Advantage Behavioral Health Systems and is comprised of members from the counties we serve.
