About the role

Partner with Hiring Managers to recruit roles supporting our clients with disability and mental health issues and older Australians including Disability Support Workers, Aged Care Home & Community Assistants and front line Leaders. This is a six month parental leave part time (30.4 hour week) contract that can be based anywhere in Australia. You can work from home or one of our offices, wherever you work best.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide recruitment advice to Hiring Managers that result in the right person in the right role for positive outcomes for our clients
  • Develop candidate sourcing plans based on market intel and client needs
  • Review and short list passive and active candidates
  • Conduct checks on preferred candidates including references and relevant probity checks (supported by our Probity team)
  • Generate electronic employment contracts
  • Drive process and consistency whilst upskilling and empowering Hiring Managers
  • Build strong relationships with IEA Providers, Education Providers and other partners in order to source values aligned candidates

Skills & Experience

  • Experience influencing and developing collaborative working relationships with Hiring Managers, employees and candidates
  • Experience within a high volume, fast paced environment with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Attention to detail is essential along with a passion for recruitment and values alignment
  • Enjoy working in a supportive team that loves having a positive impact and talking about dogs

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
