Tradewind Australia is seeking an organised and people-focused Recruitment Administrator to support our Social Services recruitment team.

This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships and keeping things organised. You will play an important role behind the scenes of the recruitment process, coordinating interviews, supporting candidates and ensuring placements run smoothly.

Administration or customer service experience is ideal. Recruitment experience is not required as full training will be provided.

About the role

This is a fast-paced coordination role where organisation, communication and attention to detail are key.

You will support the recruitment process from application through to placement, helping ensure candidates and clients have a smooth and professional experience.

A large part of the role involves phone-based communication, so confidence speaking with candidates and building rapport is essential.

You will work closely with experienced consultants and gain exposure to the recruitment industry while developing valuable business and people skills.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Administration

  • Coordinate candidate interviews and bookings
  • Manage candidate documentation and compliance checks
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and internal systems
  • Post and manage job advertisements across job boards
  • Prepare candidate profiles and support placement administration

Candidate Support

  • Conduct phone screening with candidates
  • Build relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide updates and feedback to candidates
  • Support onboarding and placement processes

Team Support

  • Assist consultants with recruitment campaigns and candidate sourcing
  • Support communication with clients and candidates
  • Help identify and engage new candidates for current and upcoming roles

About You

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service or a similar role
  • Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in building a career in recruitment

Experience or interest in the social or community services sector is an advantage, but not essential.

Community – Case managers, Youth workers, Support Workers, Community Engagement officers, Rosterers, Personal care workers, NDIS Coordinators, Counsellors, COVID rollout – HRAR Program staff, COVID testing & vaccination nurses and admin

Allied health – Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Nurses

Corporate Services – Leadership, Management and Executive roles including CEO & CFO, Finance, Accountants, Accounts Payable/Receivable, IT, HR, Marketing, Lawyers
