
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will play a key role in supporting the recruitment process by organizing, tracking, and coordinating a high volume of candidate activity. You will interact daily with candidates, hiring managers, and internal departments, serving as a professional representative and advocating for the Choctaw Nation. This recruiting role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help shape first impressions by promoting the Choctaw Nation’s mission, values, and opportunities to potential talent across the region.
Pay Rate: $23.35 an hour | Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
Weekly Earned Wage Accesss is an option
Primary Tasks:
Support Recruitment Efforts: Manage administrative aspects of the hiring process, including job postings, tracking applicant progress, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate with Hiring Managers: Conduct job scoping meetings to understand staffing needs, clarify job requirements, and ensure accurate job postings.
Engage with Candidates: Conduct pre-screening calls and interviews to evaluate applicants, answer questions, and provide a high-touch candidate experience.
Determine hiring eligibility for all candidates including transfer eligibility.
Track and Organize Information: Maintain accurate records using our applicant tracking system (ATS) and other digital tools to ensure timely and compliant hiring processes.
Promote the Choctaw Nation Brand: Act as an ambassador for the Nation by effectively communicating our culture, values, and career opportunities to candidates.
Public Speaking and Events: Attend career fairs, recruiting events, or internal meetings to share information about open positions and employment benefits.
Ensure Compliance: Provide guidance to managers on hiring policies and procedures, while always safeguarding confidential and sensitive information.
Improve the Process: Look for ways to streamline workflows and enhance the candidate’s experience through technology and service improvement
Regularly meet and coordinate with HR representatives to ensure smooth candidate hiring experience, work through issues, and/or provide solutions/suggestions to improve the hiring/onboarding experience.
