Position Purpose

Reporting into Heartland’s Vice President of DVM Recruiting, the Recruiting Sourcing & Program Manager regularly provides a strong pipeline of high-potential leads to DVM Recruiters. The Sourcing & Program Manager ensures priority focus on budget critical practice needs. The Sourcing & Program Manager ensures data integrity through our CRM and provides regular reporting to support Recruiting function productivity. This is a full-time remote role.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ensures consistent use, data entry, and reporting in the CRM.
  • Leads sourcing operations and process optimization initiatives to support DVM hiring goals, improve efficiency, and drive consistency across sourcing workflows.
  • Qualifies DVM leads and transitions high-potential candidates to DVM Recruiters for active recruitment processes.
  • Develops and maintains sourcing strategies, talent maps, and outreach plans for critical hiring markets and practice locations.
  • Partners closely with Recruitment Marketing to identify targeted marketing opportunities and support employer branding initiatives based on practice-specific hiring needs.
  • Understands and communicates the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for priority practices to strengthen sourcing effectiveness and candidate engagement.
  • Manages sourcing maps and market intelligence for budget-critical locations to support proactive talent pipeline development.
  • Supports sourcing operations through consistent pipeline management, candidate tracking, outreach coordination, and follow-up activities.
  • Oversees sourcing productivity reporting, recruiting dashboards, pipeline analytics, and sourcing metrics to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • Ensures accurate and consistent data entry, reporting, and process compliance within ATS and CRM systems.
  • Supports CRM administration activities including pipeline management, campaign execution, data uploads, tagging, and workflow optimization.
  • Partners with recruiters, sourcers, campus recruiting, marketing, and external vendors to support hiring initiatives and improve sourcing effectiveness.
  • Assists with implementation, testing, feedback, and ongoing optimization of sourcing and recruitment technologies.
  • Provides training, guidance, and operational support to sourcing team members to promote consistency and best practices.
  • Supports special projects, reporting requests, and strategic sourcing initiatives as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Experience in the veterinary industry whether clinical or industry facing is highly desired.
  • High degree of creativity, short and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization.
  • Negotiation, marketing, or sales experience a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Pay Range

USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
