Job Title: Recruiting Partner

Locations: Columbus OH (preferred) & Merrillville IN

Hybrid Schedule: onsite Tuesday-Thursday

Job Scope

The Recruiting Partner is a Talent Acquisition professional responsible for executing full lifecycle recruiting activities while building foundational consulting, sourcing, and relationship-management skills. This role focuses on delivering timely, high-quality hiring outcomes through strong execution, collaboration, and adherence to established recruiting processes.

The Recruiting Partner operates within clearly defined recruiting strategies and processes, with guidance from a Senior Recruiting Partner or Lead Recruiting Partner, and is responsible for learning to apply recruiting best practices, labor market fundamentals, and data-driven decision-making—without independent strategy ownership.

Essential Functions

Recruiting Execution & Partnership

  • Execute recruiting activities aligned to defined hiring plans, processes, and priorities, partnering closely with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition teammates.
  • Support hiring leaders by providing guidance on recruiting steps, candidate flow, and process expectations.
  • Build foundational consulting skills by asking thoughtful questions, applying feedback, and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Navigate day-to-day recruiting activities with growing independence while seeking guidance on complex situations.

Requisition & Pipeline Management

  • Own assigned requisitions and execute full lifecycle recruiting activities, including intake support, sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, offer coordination, and closing.
  • Proactively source and build candidate pipelines using approved sourcing strategies, tools, and social platforms.
  • Monitor pipeline health and flag risks or challenges to senior team members.

Candidate & Hiring Leader Experience

  • Deliver a positive, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience through timely communication, follow-up, and feedback.
  • Support hiring leaders by coordinating interviews, managing expectations, and resolving routine process questions.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by clearly communicating the organization’s value proposition and employment opportunities.

Data, Learning & Continuous Improvement

  • Track recruiting activity and results, ensuring accurate and timely updates within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Review recruiting metrics with guidance to understand progress, identify trends, and improve execution.
  • Actively learn recruiting best practices, tools, and labor market fundamentals through training, peer collaboration, and feedback.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives led by senior team members.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure recruiting activities and documentation comply with OFCCP, EEO, and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate applicant, interview, and offer data within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday)
  • Communicate approved employment offer details clearly and accurately, partnering with senior team members as needed.
  • Handle sensitive candidate and business information with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field OR equivalent job-related experience including relevant military service, where duties, scope, and responsibilities align with the essential function of the role
  • 1–3 years of experience supporting or owning full lifecycle recruiting activities or equivalent experience gained through military service, demonstrated through staffing, coordination, candidate engagement, or talent-related responsibilities.
  • Foundational experience sourcing, screening, and closing candidates across a variety of roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow defined processes, apply feedback, and continuously learn.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and hiring leaders.
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Workday or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree

$69,900.00 - $105,000.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity
