Position Recruiting Media & Event Manager

Tasks:

• Market analysis and monitoring, assessment of trends in the trade fair and events sector
• Independent planning, development and implementation of creative HR marketing ideas
• Supporting the Recruiting Media & Event Manager with strategic trade fair planning and event management for recruitment purposes across all locations, including:
• Identifying and selecting trade fairs and events for relevant hiring target groups
• Planning and preparation of trade fair (planning) and in-house events (e.g. Truck Tour, gaming events, Students' Day) for the financial year (currently approx. 30–40)
• Related cost management (including obtaining quotes, negotiating with service providers, and determining our own trade fair and event services)
• Analysing and evaluating the success of trade fairs and events

Requirements:

Communication:

• Creating content for various media, such as *The Gate*, HR SharePoints and social media

Video:

• Conceptualising the content of planned recruitment or promotional videos in consultation with the specialist departments and the Digital Content Creator, including:
• Recording requirements from the specialist department
• Analysing the target audience the video is intended to reach and deriving requirements for the video (channels, content, technology, testimonials, etc.)
• Conceptualising the video content (in terms of subject matter, organisation and technical design) and ensuring the deliverables meet the objectives
• Independently drafting scripts
• Planning and, in some cases, supervising filming days, including setting up the scene
• Supporting post-production by quality-checking the filmed footage (sound, editing, etc.) and ensuring adherence to the pre-defined 'story'
• Collaborating with internal specialist departments (e.g. Communications, Marketing, Recruitment) as well as external partners (e.g. Selektiv and trade fair organisers)
• Advising specialist departments on employer branding and recruitment by identifying topics tailored to specific target groups (e.g. client projects) and subsequently utilising these for, for example, job advertisements, texts or adverts, videos and podcasts (recruitment media)

Professional Qualifications

• Storytelling skills and expertise in editorial work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Technical understanding and an interest in technical products
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree
• Professional experience in event management
• Confident manner
• A structured, goal-oriented and independent approach to work
• Strong organisational skills and a high degree of initiative
• A strong understanding of customer service and target audiences, with a solution-oriented working style
• An interest in creative work
