Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. We value teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous professional development, and we offer competitive benefits along with opportunities for growth.

The Recruiting Coordinator, in partnership with the hiring manager, is responsible for ensuring that every position is filled with the most capable and mission-aligned employee. The Recruiting Coordinator supports recruiting efforts (e.g., talent sourcing, candidate evaluation/screening, interview process, etc.) and provides end-to-end recruiting process, partnering with hiring managers and applicants.

  • Turn job seekers into applicants, research job fairs and job postings opportunities and attend recruitment events (may include evenings and weekends).
  • Support short and long-term recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct research on recruitment standards and monitor new trends and opportunities.
  • Perform screening and interviews of qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring manager.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources, tools, and systems to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Participate in recruiting events to identify and evaluate applicants that support recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers across multiple fields.
  • Source external resume databases for diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Support college recruiting plans, events, and internship programs.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborative and work well together with teammates and employees/leaders at all levels.
  • Build relationships with key university personnel and university career centers to maximize outreach efforts and gain access to diverse audiences.
  • Manage internal referral program.
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Be flexible to work extra hours as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Follow established processes and systems to ensure compliance with policy, procedure, or legal requirements.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • This position requires a data-driven, analytical, and collaborative HR professional who can work effectively across a complex organizational structure.

Skills:

  • Ability to build strong relationships and enjoy guiding and influencing others to achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are compelling and authentic
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills with a high sense of urgency, demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple requisitions concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes.
  • Ability to be flexible to change and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Dependable, humble, have a sense of humor and a rock-solid commitment to Elevate Aircraft Seating’s mission
  • Proficient with PC office products

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 1+ years of recruiting experience
  • Good understanding and experience with HR tools such as our ATS Clear Company and HRIS ADP Workforce Now.

Other:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Extended or irregular hours may be required.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSE

  • PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM-CP/SHRM SCP Certification (preferred, but not required)

  • Direction is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome (goals), timing and budget. Work is reviewed or measured in terms of meeting organizational objectives and schedules

  • Develop and provide solutions to complex problems based on established precedents and consistent with organization objectives.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Hourly Rate Transparency: $25- $27 per hour, depending on candidate qualifications
