Job Description: Candidate Resourcer (US Market – Life Sciences)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Candidate Resourcer to join our growing team, focused on the US Life Sciences market. This role is ideal for a South African-based recruiter with proven experience sourcing talent across the United States within pharma, biotech, and broader life sciences sectors. You will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying top-tier talent, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience while supporting high-performing delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Proactively source high-quality candidates across the US life sciences market (pharma, biotech, medical devices, CROs).
● Utilize advanced LinkedIn Recruiter techniques, including complex Boolean searches, to identify niche and hard-to-find talent.
● Conduct detailed screening calls to assess candidate experience, technical fit, and alignment with client requirements.
● Partner closely with Sales Leaders and Consultants to understand US-specific hiring needs, market nuances, and role requirements.
● Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive candidates for current and future roles.
● Stay up to date with US life sciences trends, talent availability, and market insights.
● Consistently meet or exceed KPIs including CV submissions, interviews, and pipeline generation.
● Accurately manage candidate data and activity within Bullhorn (or similar ATS).
Qualifications & Skills
● Proven experience recruiting for the US market (remote from South Africa).
● Strong background as a candidate-focused resourcer (delivery only) — no sales/360 responsibilities required.
● Experience within Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech is essential.
● Advanced sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
● Familiarity with Bullhorn or similar ATS platforms.
● Strong understanding of US hiring practices, candidate expectations, and time zone management.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage US-based candidates professionally.
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously.
