Job Description

The Recruiter for our banking industry client will play a critical role in executing talent acquisition strategies tailored to the needs of the business. This position involves providing expert advice and counsel on sourcing and recruiting strategies, engaging with various stakeholders to align talent acquisition efforts with business objectives, and delivering operational and strategic work to support growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in recruitment within the banking or financial industry, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. They will thrive in a collaborative environment, utilizing their analytical skills to develop innovative sourcing strategies and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on delivering results will be key to success in this role.

Location: Remote - U.S. (Greater Chicago + California)

Contract Length: 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to FTE

Hours: Standard 8am to 5pm

Pay: $50

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, influencing and negotiating to achieve business objectives.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and determine business priorities for executing group strategies.
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues impacting talent acquisition.
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to track recruitment performance.
  • Build change management plans and lead various change management activities, including stakeholder management and execution of initiatives.
  • Define and implement communication plans to positively influence behavior and develop tailored messaging for stakeholders.
  • Provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs related to talent acquisition.
  • Develop talent acquisition solutions based on an understanding of business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Conduct industry analysis and trends to identify unique recruiting opportunities for target customer segments.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies for complex roles requiring external search support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective talent acquisition solutions.
  • Lead coaching and capability building on the latest recruitment techniques across the organization.
  • Monitor and track recruitment performance, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Exercise judgment to identify and solve problems while adhering to risk management frameworks.
  • Handle non-routine situations independently and take measured risks to protect the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in recruitment, with a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience hiring within the banking or financial industry.
  • Possession of an appropriate HR designation.
  • Demonstrated results in recruiting or sourcing, with in-depth knowledge and technical proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive recruitment initiatives successfully.
  • Experience in sourcing passive candidates and a proactive approach to talent acquisition.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in recruitment tools and platforms, including Flextrack.

PREFERRED

  • Experience hiring for Mass Affluent or Premier Services roles.
  • Background in hiring licensed sales and relationship individuals.

EDUCATION

  • Appropriate HR designation is preferred.
