SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and high energy Recruiter in Houston, TX to partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to fill high-priority salaried positions across multiple states. This role manages the full recruitment cycle, from understanding hiring needs and attracting talent to evaluating candidates and supporting hiring decisions. The ideal candidate combines proactive sourcing with sound judgment, responsive communication, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The position is remote, with initial training conducted at headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate follow-up, and support through the offer process.
• Partner with leadership and hiring managers to clarify role requirements, hiring priorities, and the experience and capabilities needed for success.
• Advise hiring managers on recruiting strategies, candidate alignment, and next steps while maintaining clear and timely communication.
• Create compelling job postings and advertisements that accurately communicate responsibilities, qualifications, and the opportunity.
• Identify and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, professional networks, referrals, and other relevant sourcing channels.
• Conduct screening conversations to assess candidate experience, motivation, and alignment with position requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain candidate engagement throughout the selection process.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current openings and recurring hiring needs across multiple states.
• Provide an attentive, professional candidate experience through timely updates, thoughtful communication, and consistent follow-through.
• Collaborate with talent attraction colleagues on outreach, social media visibility, hiring events, and recruitment marketing strategies.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system, and share progress updates with hiring stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Five years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Proven track record recruiting across multiple states.
• Experience with Paylocity is preferred, but not required.
• Strong listening, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the diplomacy to advise and support hiring managers effectively.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and a positive candidate experience.
• Proactive approach to sourcing, networking, and continued professional development.
• Ability to understand candidates’ experience, career goals, and development interests to identify strong matches.
• Strong organization and follow-through to manage competing hiring priorities and keep recruitment processes moving.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with leadership and recruiting colleagues.
