Job Description

About the role and team

As part of the APAC Talent Acquisition team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment efforts for our dynamic at Uber. Joining an exceptional group of recruiters, your responsibilities will span across all Centers of Excellence (COEs) including Manila, Clark, Hyderabad, Vizag and North Asia locations.

You will combine full-lifecycle high-volume talent acquisition execution with strategic talent intelligence, consultative pushback, and quality-of-hire discipline. Rather than operating as an order-taker, you will guide, coach, and challenge hiring managers using data and market insights.

What you’ll do

  • Pipeline Management: Drive end-to-end recruitment for high-volume roles, building robust pipelines to support rapid operational scaling..
  • Lead, Don't Follow: Act as a proactive talent advisor to hiring managers across operations and business units, setting expectations and holding stakeholders accountable for their role in the hiring process.
  • Brand & Experience: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects company values, ensuring unselected candidates receive timely, constructive feedback.
  • Conversion Optimization: Monitor and optimize stage-by-stage funnel conversions (e.g., Application-to-Screen, Screen-to-Interview, Interview-to-Offer) to eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Market Insights: Utilize market dynamics, talent pool data, and competitive analysis to inform sourcing strategies and advise hiring managers on feasibility.
  • Referral & Employee Advocacy: Drive internal referral initiatives and encourage hiring teams to act as talent advocates to unlock passive networks.

Basic Qualifications

  • High Volume Recruitment Background: 3+ years experience managing full-lifecycle high volume or customer support searches from sourcing and referral management through to offer, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consultative Influence: Demonstrated ability to push back, coach, and influence mid-to-senior business leaders with confidence and data-driven conviction.
  • Organization & Discipline: Ability to balance ~20 concurrent searches without sacrificing quality, candidate experience, or operational rigor.
  • Analytical & Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to translate raw pipeline numbers and talent market metrics into strategic advice for business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coaching or mentoring hiring managers.
  • Background hiring within a scaled, high-growth technology or commercial organization.
  • Early adoption of generative AI tools to streamline day-to-day recruiting workflows.

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
