Shift: 8HRs/Day (8am-5pm w/Hour @ Lunch)
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Annually (Paid Twice Per Month) + Bonus
Employment Terms: Permanent Full-Time

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires the successful candidate live in Timmins, ON, and work in our Timmins Corporate Office. We offer a hybrid work schedule, but this position is not remote.
The Recruiter will be responsible for providing recruitment and support services to the Human Resources department and Operations team. This role involves sourcing, screening, and recommending skilled hourly personnel for ongoing projects, while also managing recruitment processes, administrative duties, and reporting.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountabilities
- Review resumes and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Work closely with project teams to understand their manpower needs and track staffing requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates, fostering strong relationships throughout the hiring process.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity, providing valuable insights to support business development and recruitment strategies.
- Always have a pipeline of pre-screened candidates ready for new opportunities, ensuring timely placements for project managers.
- Follow established recruitment processes while continuously adapting to ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Regularly review and maintain recruitment data in Jobvite to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Compile and analyze recruitment data, providing actionable insights through regular reports.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE:
- Previous experience as a mining recruiter is an asset.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles.
- Prior experience in the mining industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Jobvite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the company positively to potential employees.
- Experience maintaining databases and managing recruitment-related documentation across multiple sites.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employment information and data.
