Exciting Opportunity: Recruiter – Iowa Facility Opening in 2027

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the hiring process by identifying, attracting, and assisting in the selection of qualified candidates for open positions. This role involves posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Post job openings on internal and external job boards.
  • Source candidates, review resumes and screen applicants for basic qualifications.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update candidate information in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Attend career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Provide timely follow-up and communication to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure fairness and legal compliance during the interview and screening process while considering individual circumstances; must have a balanced approach to recruiting.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices in recruitment and relevant labor laws.
  • Utilize various technologies such as ATS, Teams, Skype, Microsoft Office Products, etc.
  • Support other HR or recruiting projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interest in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
