Recruiter | Brooklyn, NY · $65,000–$80,000 + Bonuses

About the Role: A children's mental health after-school program is looking for a people-smart, mission-driven Recruiter to help build their team of therapists and providers. You'll own the hiring process end-to-end — sourcing, screening, and bringing in the right clinical talent for a program that genuinely changes kids' lives. If you know how to find great people, move quickly, and think beyond the obvious sourcing channels, this role has real room to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing & Outreach

• Drive hiring primarily through Indeed, with the initiative to expand into additional platforms and resources
• Proactively build pipelines of qualified therapists, counselors, and mental health providers

Screening & Selection

• Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess fit
• Coordinate interviews and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process
• Partner with leadership to ensure the right people are placed in the right roles

Process & Communication

• Maintain organized records of candidate activity and hiring progress
• Suggest and implement improvements to sourcing strategy as the program grows

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of recruiting experience strongly preferred, though not required
• Strong communicator — written, verbal, and everything in between
• Self-starter who can take initiative and think creatively about sourcing
• Interest in mental health, education, or nonprofit sectors a plus
