The Recreational Therapist works under the supervision of the Manager, Administrative Supervisor and/or Director of Behavioral Services, and plans, organizes and directs activities and programs for psychiatric patients designed to improve their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

Education: Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy required.
Licensure:
Experience: Less than one year.
Certifications: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. SAFE Level 2 within 6 Months Of Hire.
Other: Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills are required in order to evaluate patient conditions, design therapy plans and assess patient progress.
