Job Description: The role of the Staff Recreation Therapist is to increase patients independent leisure functioning and health through involvement in leisure and recreational activities. Coordinates volunteers, assists in transition/discharge of patients to home and community or to alternate levels of care. The Staff Recreation Therapist will participate in student preceptoring. The Staff Recreation Therapist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team on both units.

Education

• Bachelor of Recreation Studies
• Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation (BTR)
