The purpose of this position is to coach, mentor, and oversee the positive interaction, growth and development of an individual player or team as they perform, practice or compete in various competitive tournaments, this role may also include recreational sport activities in an indoor or outdoor setting.

The City of Sunny Isles Beach was incorporated on June 16, 1997. Sunny Isles Beach operates on a Commission/City Manager form of government. The commission consists of a mayor and four commissioners who serve as the policy-making body of the city. The city manager ensures that policies, directives, resolutions and ordinances adopted by the city commission are enforced and implemented. The city manager is also charged with the daily operations of the city.
