Gymnastics Coach
JOB TITLE: Gymnastics Coach
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt – Part Time

SUPERVISOR: Recreation Specialist – Gymnastics
SALARY: $14-$18 Per Hour
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will assist children in the City’s Gymnastics Program, ages 2-18. The position will lead classes, create routines, and perform a variety of duties, unique to gymnastics. Applicant should be creative, artistic, and energetic, as well as have some background in dance, gymnastics, tumbling, and/or cheerleading.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Required:
High school student - must be 16 at the time of application.
Preferred
Previous work experience working with children.
Experience in gymnastics, dance, tumbling and/or cheerleading.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, and writing. The employee is also required to maintain physical condition necessary for operating assigned equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting for prolonged periods of time and lifting to 30 pounds. Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisions demonstrating intellectual capabilities.
Working Environment
Both indoor and outdoor environments; irregular working hours including nights and weekends.
