Under general supervision plans, coordinates, and implements adult and youth recreation and aquatic programs at Lasker Pool. Assists with daily aquatic operations, ensures public safety and compliance with health and safety regulations, supervises seasonal and part-time staff, and supports overall recreation programming and facility operations.

Associate Degree in Recreation Administration or a closely related field; AND two years’ experience in recreation operations; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must demonstrate strong swimming ability sufficient to perform aquatic rescues.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:
Work is performed at City parks, recreation centers, aquatic facilities, and special event venues. Duties require moderate physical activity including standing, walking, bending, lifting, exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and handling pool chemicals. Must possess strong swimming ability and be able to enter the water quickly to assist in emergency situations.
